No one probably remembers Dustman... but yep, it's me... Cool to see the RC still kicking.. Haven't attended a game in a loooong time... For all of you who don't remember, I was a member of the RC in the good ole days of the early 90's... and then again when it was revived early 2000... I'm also the one who got the geocities website and this particular board initially up and running.... before the family and having to hand it over to someone who had more time. Great to see it still kicking!! Dustman

I'm also the one who got the geocities website and this particular board initially up and running.... before the family and having to hand it over to someone who had more time. Great to see it still kicking!! Dustman I bet all of us remember you. In case you didn't already know I am the person formerly referred to as "Farm". As it pertains to Pointer Hockey, the RC is a mixed bag these days. I'm in Minnesota, Cave is in New York, and the others are scattered about as well. The RC has way way more numbers to work with compared to when we were doing it, but they lack leadership. When someone is there to get things going they are impressively hostile. I write for USCHO.com now so I have seen games everywhere, and depsite the lack of leadership in the RC I would still rate it the best student section in the NCHA. It's also quite helpful that the band works in conjuction with the students these days. I'd put Stout #2. Stout has the most pinache these days, but they will go very long stretches without making any noise. Those of us who remain active on this board have elevated our definition of the RC to new levels. All in the name of fun and shameless self-promotion, we tote the Point flag all over the country (Europe forthcoming) and use the RC name every year when we play in the USA Hockey/Labatt Blue pond hockey tournament in Eagle River. As a result, there's a host of cheesy videos and such aimed at maximizing the lore surrounding the RC. If you're still checking in here let me know and I'll throw up a bunch of links. It's all done tongue in cheek, but it's a lot of fun. I think we keep it going because, at least speaking for myself, these guys are some of the best friends I have, and the only reason we know each other is through Point Hockey and the RC. At the risk of sounding lame about it, it's a connection we all find pretty special. That being said, prepare yourself for the stompdown and following full-length video documentary that Team RC will be assembling at this year's pond hockey tournament. That about does it, but good to see you are alive and well. Where are you living now? The weekend of Jan 23-25 will feature the 6th annual installment of the RC pickup game (likely at Goerke this year) and we'll all take in the Lake Forest and St. Norbert games that weekend. If you're living anywhere close you should head on over for the SNC game. Doubek still shows up periodically. And finally...what the hell is Strahota up to?

It's all done tongue in cheek, but it's a lot of fun. What are you saying? We don't take this shit seriously?
