I assume we are playing at Goerke?
If so, what time are we playing? If it's earlier in the day someone let me know, please, so I can get off work. I refuse to miss out on this one.
And the SP Park and Rec Ice update is: There is none yet. I did see a water truck out there yesterday so I'm thinking it is in the works - especially as the forecast shows temps not "quite" reaching 32 anytime soon.

Georke, 10 AM. Game starts when we deem we're ready. Skills competition either before or after. TBD So I was thinking.... Any chance we can get Mattingly to fly in and cater this shindig? Hell, it's going to be cold out there and I could think of nothing better than some hot food prepared for us by a real expert. Some real winter spice!

Skills competition either before or after. Might as well do it after.... That way Caveman can get home early.

Checked the ice today on the way home from work.
The hockey rink ice is down and seems to be in really good shape, except for a little choppiness back behind where one of the goals would be.
Not sure if the non-hockey portion has been laid yet....everything was covered with snow and I didn't feel like walking out there to find out.
Now all we need is the temps to stay cold. So long as that happens, we will all be able to get out there on the 29th and light up Caveman like a freaking roman candle.

Does anyone have any Fruitcake left over that they could shellack before the game, so as to make the fruitcake award, a REAL fruitcake?

Yo Mattingly? You hear that?
Hook me up with a recipe, please.
I do have some zucchini bread, but that ain't gonna cut it.

Go out and spend $.32 on a small fruitcake. God you fuckers are cheap. Hey, don't look at me on this one... I'm the guy who wants a high quality recipe so I can make one on my own - with ingredients that I pay for myself.

I'm hearing bad rumors:
Temps near 50 degrees next week supposedly.
That would be bad.

After a few more "go-rounds" on the Kenosha Zamboni, supposedly I'm getting the keys to the Arena. Maybe we'll have to have a "late night" tilt..

I'm not worried about the ice, the game is over 4 weeks out. It'll be fine.
