A great big fuck'em to Koelner Haie. Verpiss dich! www.adler-mannheim.de/Looks like my Adler Mannheim are stuck in 6th. Still in the playoffs, but I would have liked them to have a shot at 5th. Looks like the battle between Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg and Hannover Scorpions to stay out of the relegation round will be interesting.

Does god not own everything? Were one to subscribe to such a theory, god would indeed own Tripod. You answered your own question.

So I'm wondering: Since I couldn't read much of your link seeing it's written in sauerkraut-speak, are these guys related in any way to Mannheim-Steamroller? Because their Christmas songs are really good.

No, no relation to Mannheim Steamroller.
Adler Mannheim (Mannheim Eagles) is one of my favorite DEL teams. DEL is the top German professional hockey leauge.
I began loosley following them after I started playing the DEL leauge in NHL 2005.
One cool thing about DEL is that there are no ties, ever. If they're tied at the end of regulation, they go right to a shootout, and keep going until there is a winner.
Here's how the Playoffs work:
The top eight teams go to the playoffs, the season ends for the ninth through twelfth place teams, and the bottom two teams play a special series where the loser is demoted to the minor leauge below the DEL and is replaced, IIRC, by the champion of that minor leauge.
Think of it this way, if major Leauge Baseball had a similar system in place, at the end of the season, we would see a team like the Tampa Bay Devil Rays Demoted to AAA, and a champion AAA team promoted to the big leauges to take its place

Fuck'em to jackethockey.com, usually your weekend story is out by now, I guess the loss to SNC has really stung(pun intended) the jacket faithful.... Oh yeah, you guys are fucked next year, lets see who you lose: #4 - Joe Campbell - no big loss #11 - Randall Smisko - that one hurts a little #13 - Kyle Nosan - there goes the stud captain #14 - Mike Wiggins - POTY in the NCHA, you won't miss that. #16 - Beau Moyer - whatever. #20 - Yann Poirier - this list is like a who's who in NCHA hockey. #25 - Dale Lupul - one of the best D-men I have ever seen in DIII hockey. #28 - Rob Whidden - I swear half these guys have been around for 8 years. So yeah, good luck filling those voids... At least you still have Chris Niemiec right?

Big Anti-Fuck'em to SNC of course! What we let you get away with on this board.... Oh yeah, www.hattrick.org is basicly NHL2005's dynasty mode combinded with D&D. You're the GM/Owner of a soccer team and you get to play against real live human beings, unlike any dynasty mode. Oh yeah, it's free. (Just like wormser said)

I know how it works, I follow European soccer.

Not that I really care, but more for amusements sake:
Jay picked up two votes while I didn't get any. Jay himself knows that I eat him for breakfast. Who are these idiots voting?

Fuck'em to this guy who went "postal" in that court room down in Atlanta. Psycho!
As I was driving around Green Bay at lunch today, I pulled up at a light behind a car with the licensce plate "M CNADN" with a SNC window sticker on it. So I had to try to pull aside who see who this was. I couldn't tell just by looking at him, it was a guy in his mid-20's though...? Oh those silly canadiens.
